Primary Responsibilities

Position Summary

As a Body Shop Estimator, you will be the first point of contact for customers needing vehicle repair estimates. Your role includes providing excellent customer service, accurately estimating repair costs in line with insurance guidelines, and managing the repair process from start to finish. You will work closely with customers, technicians, and insurance companies to ensure repairs meet quality standards and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assess their repair needs with empathy and professionalism
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with customers and Body Shop Technicians to identify necessary repairs
  • Prepare accurate and detailed repair estimates including parts and labor costs
  • Adhere to insurance company guidelines when preparing estimates and handling communications
  • Maintain organized workloads and dispatch repair orders efficiently
  • Explain estimates clearly to customers and keep them informed throughout the repair process
  • Perform quality control checks on repaired vehicles before delivery
