Position Summary

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine oil changes, lube services, filter replacements, and multipoint inspections on customer vehicles. This role supports the dealership’s quality standards, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency while maintaining a safe work environment.

Primary Duties

• Perform lube, oil, filter replacement, and multipoint service inspections accurately and efficiently.
• Identify and assess any additional vehicle service needs and communicate these effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles during servicing and ensure the work area is clean and safe.
• Adhere to all OSHA and EPA regulations and company policies at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering prompt and accurate communication and service.
• Support team members by sharing knowledge and promoting a positive work environment.
• Operate with integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic, setting a positive example in attendance and attitude.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to meet dealership objectives.

Work Environment

This position requires working in a shop setting and being exposed to various weather conditions, noise, dust, fumes, and chemicals. The role involves physical tasks such as lifting up to 100 pounds, bending, stooping, and operating equipment safely.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is recommended but not required.
• At least one year of experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice.
• Valid driver's license with a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) meeting company policy requirements.
• Local state inspection license preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a shop environment exposed to noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, and varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 100 pounds regularly.
• Capable of sitting, standing, bending, reaching, handling tools, and operating equipment safely.
• Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching may be required.
• Required vision includes close, distance, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
