Job Description

As a Receptionist Cashier at Ross Downing Chevrolet, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership's front office and providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Protect the legal, financial, and moral integrity of the dealership.
  • Greet customers and respond to phone inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • File receipts and permits accurately to maintain organized records for efficient data retrieval.
  • Support fellow employees by sharing knowledge and seeking ways to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain customer service satisfaction by guiding customers to the appropriate departments.
  • Review and track receipt of money and permits consistently and accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with management and adhere to all job duties assigned.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards and operate with integrity.
  • Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work environment demonstrating professionalism.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints and adjustments professionally.
  • Report to work punctually and maintain a reliable work schedule.

Work Environment

This role is based in a dealership administrative setting which requires welcoming customers in person. The position involves sitting, standing, talking, hearing, and moving around the facility. Occasional exposure to weather while performing duties is possible.

Job Requirements:

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least one year of reception experience in a retail or dealership setting is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
  • Strong professional communication skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, talk, hear, and move around the facility regularly.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 10 pounds safely.
  • Vision ability to adjust focus as needed.
  • Operate equipment safely and responsibly.
